The Safety Light Striker

This isn’t your average torch striker. The Safety Light Striker attaches directly to your torch, so you’ll always have it right where you need it. Designed for welders, oilfield workers, and anyone who uses a torch, it’s built tough and reliable, every time.

Safe, quick, & easy way to light your torch

Lights: Gas, acetylene, propane

How It Works

Step 1

The Safety Light Striker slides directly onto the tip of your torch.

Step 2

Tighten the thumb screw on the bottom to secure the Striker to the torch tip. A spring will keep the striker in place so it won't fall forward while you're cutting.

Step 3

To light your torch, simply flick the end forward so that the Safety Light Striker flips forward and ignites.

How It All Started

Cody Guinn, from Cleveland, Oklahoma, invented this striker out of pure frustration. One day, while working 20 feet down in a hole, Cody had his torch but realized the striker wasn’t with his tools. His bucket of tools had been lowered down, but without a striker, he was stuck, wasting valuable time waiting for someone to bring him one.

That experience inspired Cody to create a solution—he vowed never to go without a striker attached to his torch again. The result is a practical, reliable product designed to make life easier for anyone using a torch.
